Cozumel Beach Bar Loop

The Cozumel Beach Bar Loop, on the east side of the island, is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in paradise! The east side of the island is known for its rugged beauty and unspoiled nature. The area is home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and stunning rock formations.

The beaches here are completely natural and uncommercialized, providing visitors with a peaceful and authentic experience. Unlike the bustling beach bar on the western side of the island, the east side is more of a wild and untamed landscape. In fact, it’s nickname is “The Wild Side”! The Cozumel beach bar loop attracts both locals and tourists, providing an opportunity to socialize, enjoy cold drinks, and indulge in some delicious local cuisine.

Mezcalitos

One of the most popular bars in the Beach Bar Loop is Mezcalito's Beach Bar. This quaint little beach bar has a classic Mexican food and bar menu where they have been serving up margaritas, shrimp & burgers since 1979. Set up in a laid back style with hammocks, a few tables and lots of seating at the bar. The bartenders are skilled at mixing up refreshing drinks, and they're always happy to chat with patrons and provide recommendations. Mezcalito's also serves a range of tasty snacks and light bites, including ceviche and fish tacos.

Another popular spot in the Beach Bar Loop is Coconuts.

Set at the highest point in Cozumel, this casual and laid-back bar is located right on the beach, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun.

Coconuts is known for its delicious cocktails and fresh seafood, and it's a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The bar has a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Welcome to Miami

Just down from Rasta’s on the east side south end of the island is Welcome to Miami, a favorite of mine! They are famous for their Mojitos and Papa’s Secret, fresh squeezed cocktails.

A small beach bar with a few tables and hammocks overlooking one of the most picturesque views of the island. It’s one of the more popular Cozumel beach bars so there is sometimes a line but don’t let a line deter you, it is worth the wait!

This beach side bar is known by many names … Liquor Box, Welcome to Miami, 25 Hour Bar, Coconut Shack & Mojito House - Best Mojito’s in Cozumel.
